For the Oldsmobile performance purists we bring you the rare and infamous "Golden Rocket" in scale form. Known as the J2 engine option, this was a factory born performance engine featuring a vacuum actuated Tri-Power Rochester 2GC carburetor package. Re-created in stunning detail for your next Olds build! includes options for Power Steering as well.
High detail multi piece engine kit includes 39 pieces including transmission( Engine block, oil pan, cylinder heads x2, valley cover, lower bellhousing, stock smooth valve covers x2, stock Oldsmobile Rocket valve covers x2, Golden Rocket valve covers x2, stock exhaust manifolds x2, 3 carb intake manifold, Rochester 2GC TriPower carb pack, dual snorkel air filter, small smooth air cleaners x3, 4 piece GM HydraMatic transmission ( Transmission, trans pan, bellhousing, trans adaptor for other GM transmissions) starter, generator with bracket, generator no bracket, fuel pump, power steering pump, timing cover, oil filter, oil filter adaptor, thermostat, cross bolt ignition coil, solid distributor, hollow center distributor, "drilled" distributor, stock belts, belts for power steering)
GM Hydramatic Automatic transmission included as well as adaptor plate for other GM transmissions (available in transmission section at additional cost)
Cylinder heads, ignition coil, "drilled" distributor and fuel pump all "pre-drilled" for ease of plumbing and wiring
Comes in raw resin, some minor sanding, finishing, painting and assembly required. Not designed for one specific kit, may require modifications to kit being used to adapt engine to your build.
