Our Ford Y-Block is back and better than ever. The OHV V8 that replaced the Flathead is available exclusively here at VCG and with amazing new detail. Available in Stock or Stock F100 trim. F100 version features factory correct exhaust crossover pipe and F100 valve covers. Both versions feature multi piece construction with many parts keyed for assembly, New details include oil pan with external oil pump and pickup tube, factory style casting numbers on many parts and our new “drilled” V8 distributor and new Holley 2100 carburetor
High detail 30 piece kit includes Engine block, Cylinder heads x2, Oil pan, Smooth valve covers x2, Power by Ford valve covers x2, FORD valve covers x2, Engine valley cover with oil fill, two barrel intake manifold, stock exhaust manifoldsx2, timing cover, water pump, pulleys with attached belt, 4 blade fan, oil canister style filter, vintage fuel pump with sight bowl, generator bracket, generator, starter, side bolt ignition coil, solid V8 distributor, hollow V8 distributor, “drilled” V8 distributor, Stock oil bath air cleaner, Tri-Pie air cleaner and Holley 2100 carburetor.
F100 VERSION does not include Power By Ford valve covers, oil bath air cleaner, Tri-Pie air cleaner or stock backdraft exhaust manifolds. Instead includes Ford F100 valve covers x2, F100 air cleaner, stock crossover exhaust manifolds and exhaust crossover pipe
Hollow and drilled distributor provided along with pre-drilled ignition coil and cylinder heads for ease of wiring.
Includes transmission (please select at checkout) Available options are 3 speed TopLoader or Ford-O-Matic 2 speed ALSO BOTH REVISED WITH HIGHER DETAIL. Additional transmission options available at additional cost in transmission section.
