Ford Y Block COBRA
Another of our “What If” engine kits has arrived. This time in the form of a Cobra Y-Block. Fords second gen V8 dressed in Cobra trim and equipped with high flow long tube headers and a 4 barrel intake with Holley 4919 4 barrel carburetor. Give your next classic Ford a unique powerplant and have everyone at the shows asking “What is that?”. We also priced this one at a value due to the lack of options, can only be built in one high detail version.
Includes transmission (Available options are C6 automatic or 4 speed TopLoader) Please select at checkout
26 pieces included (Engine block, Cobra oil pan, cylinder heads x2, Cobra valve covers x2, valley cover with oil fill tube, 4 barrel intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold x2, long tube headers x2, timing cover, water pump, performance style fuel pump, alternator bracket, alternator, starter, pulleys with attached belt, oil filter (may require mounting hole enlarged slightly), side bracket ignition coil, hollow center distributor, solid center distributor, drilled distributor (all distributors are clip cap style), Holley 4919 style carburetor, oval Cobra air cleaner). Cylinder heads, drilled distributor and ignition coil “pre-drilled” for ease of wiring.
Comes in raw resin, some minor sanding and clean up required as well as finishing and assembly. Contains small parts not recommended for children.
