The Buick "Super Wildcat" engine was a high-performance option for the Buick Wildcat and other large models in the mid-1960s, identified as a 425 CI V8 with dual four barrel carburetors. It produced 360 horsepower and was an upgrade from the standard 401-cubic-inch V8, which was rated at 325 horsepower. This dual-quad setup was sometimes referred to as the "Super Wildcat" and was available from 1964 to 1966.
Engine kit includes 47 pieces total ( Block, cylinder heads x2, oil pan, stock early smooth valve covers x2, finned Buick valve covers with breathers x2, finned Buick valve covers without breathers x2, valley cover, valley cover with oil fill tube, dual 4 barrel intake manifold, lower bellhousing, exhaust manifolds x2, timing cover, water crossover housing, starter, generator with bracket, alternator, alternator bracket, oil filter adaptor, oil filter canister, modern style fuel pump, Carter 4 barrel carburetor with choke actuator x2, Carter 4 barrel carburetor no choke x2, stock beehive snorkle air cleaner, side bracket ignition coil, soild center distributor, holow center distributor, drilled distributor, oil filler/breather caps x3, pulleys with attached belt, full accessory pulleys with attached belt, power steering pump, crankshaft damper. 2 piece Buick TH400 automatic transmission ( transmission, oil pan), manual transmission bellhousing, transmission adaptor for other GM transmissions, fan clutch, cooling fan)

Comes in raw resin,some sanding, finishing and assembly required ( Instructions provided under “Instructions tab” on home page, please use instructions for Stock Nailhead) as well as paint and adapting to kit being used. Engine is not designed to fit one particular kit, some modifications and scratch building may be required for fitment
