Take your traditional Model A build to the next level with this highly detailed 1/25 scale Ford Model A 4-cylinder engine featuring the iconic Miller overhead valve (OHV) conversion.
The Miller OHV setup was one of the most popular and performance-oriented upgrades available for the Model A, transforming Ford’s dependable four-cylinder into a serious early speed engine. This version captures that legendary look with exceptional scale accuracy and crisp detail throughout.
Designed with a strong emphasis on realism and precision, this performance engine features:
Miller overhead valve cylinder head conversion
Finely detailed OHV head with correct bolt and casting detail
Dual carburetor setup with individual intake stacks
Performance-style exhaust header
Distributor and ignition detail
Front accessory drive with fan, pulleys, and belt detail
Generator and starter components
Block, oil pan, and side details faithful to the Model A foundation
Our highest detail engine ever, featuring cranshaft and piston detail, valve spring detail and evan a separate camshaft that can be installed prior to engine assembly (completely un-necessary but absolutely fun!)
The high level of detail built into this engine makes it ideal for open-hood hot rods, lakes-inspired builds, gow jobs, speedsters, and traditional competition-style projects. The raised casting and “Miller” script detail on the head provide an authentic focal point once painted and wired.
Includes 40 pieces total ( Engine block, oil pan, Miller cylinder head, Miller valve cover, flywheel housing, 6 pc TopLoader transmission ( bellhousing, trans case, multi piece output housing, shift tower cover, shifter), Meteor dual carb intake manifold, Holley 97 carburetors x2, short velocity stacks x2, dual downdraft exhaust manifold, long tube header, Miller side cover, timing cover, oil pipe, camshaft, oil fill tube, generator, starter, distributor base, distributor cap, 4 blade fan, pulleys with attached belt, separate pulleys x3, upper water connector, lower water connector, low profile water pump, upper coolant tube, lower coolant tube, coolant tube hose connectors x3)
Comes in raw resin, some minor sanding and finishing required as well as painting and assembly (Please see photos for assembly reference, more reference photos coming soon)
PLEASE NOTE-UPPER WATER NECK HOUSING WILL REQUIRE MOUNTING TAB REMOVED AND HOUSING MOUNTED AT SMALL AREA ON TOP OF WATER PUMP AND CYLINDER HEAD AFTER WATER PUMP IS INSTALLED
3D design from the Scale Speed Garage Collection
Perfect for builders looking to showcase period-correct performance and early hot rodding heritage.
